Paul and Kathy Koehler DodgeWow - 45 years have flown past. I imagine it feels that way for most of us. I know 65 sure doesn’t sound as old when you are 62 as it did when I was 18.

As some of you would have guessed in HS, Kathy and I did get married, and after 41 years, surprisingly, she hasn’t killed my yet! (That is more a comment about me than a comment about her cooking.) We have bounced around the country; 5 years in Chicago, 12 in Greenville, SC, 5 in San Antonio, 10 in Dallas, and now 7 in Denver. Along the way we had 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren who live in Tucson and Portland (OR).

We won’t go into further detail here…we need to leave something to talk about at the reunion.

As for the reunion, we are looking forward to returning to Manchester. Even though Kathy and I both have sisters that still live nearby, we don’t get back very often. The funny thing is, when we do (and this is true of the last 40+ years), we always expect to see someone from our HS class of ’70. The sad part is, we rarely have. About 30 years ago, I think we realized that was because some people had aged…we were sure we hadn’t. Go figure. Kathy and I do want to thank the people who have worked on this years reunion, and express our gratitude for all you have done to bring the class together again, and for the thought you have put into making the overall event meaningful.

We all know there is a balance to life, between family, friends, faith, country, and work. We are hopeful that as many of our classmates as possible, are in a position to fit our class reunion into their lives, and rekindle some of the friendships and memories that have lasted so long, and will continue to do so.

Looking forward to seeing many of you soon.

Paul and Kathy (Koehler) Dodge
